The story of Custard Boutique:

It has been a long time fascination/passion of owner Tara Kirkland to make women look and feel as fabulous as she thinks they are. Everyone asks her about the name, and she admits honestly, there is no glamorous response(I respectfully disagree). “Custard is evocative. Its look and sound sets the feeling I envision for this store in this place… the same feeling I hope you get when you come by.”

Custard is located in the lovely downtown district of Savannah.  This adorable boutique is all about dressing women, all women, in fashion-forward and unique clothing. Which is a wonderful breath of fresh air, I loath nothing more than stores who think all women are tooth-picks!

Calling all fashionistas, to this meticulously picked store that lets a diverse provision of styles and prices to compliment everyone, and everyone’s shape. Custard prides themselves in helping women embellish their best assets, all while ironing out the “kinks”.

I will be honest if you are more of an accessories girl, then you have to stop by, there is just no excuse to miss this. I have never seen such unique items anywhere else. They also believe in keeping things local, eco-friendly, and fun! Which is something that made me fall in love with them! Plus the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and sweet! Not to mention the adorable doggies that roam the store, love!

Oh and did I mentioned that you can shop online which is currently showing these amazing reclaimed necklaces that are made from 19th century wax forms, I might have to be bad and get one myself, so unique! But of course you can shop from all their amazing brands and other lovely items!

At Custard you will find shoes, bags, jewelry, clothes, and gift items. Some of their brands represented in the store include: Earnest Sewn, French Connection, SuperMaggie, Kensie and Kensie Girl, By Boe, Tano, Early Jewelry, Jeffrey Campbell, Sweet Pea, Pink Studio and Miss Oops, along with an evolving selection of others.

So please take a look, or a weekend trip to visit this amazing boutique located in one of the most charming cities around!

I feel Topshop is worth talking about because it is so amazing! This boutique has gotten a ton of press and a lot of attention but it is one of the best boutiques in Manhattan. It is not your typical, teeny-tiny, exclusive boutique but rather a great boutique with a huge selection of trendy and chic clothing and to-die-for accessories!

Located right in the heart of Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, Topshop and model Kate Moss work together to bring us the latest trends and fashions. From hipster skirts, to tomboy jackets to girly blouses Topshop really has something for everyone. Once you walk in you are overwhelmed with the amazing options that are displayed before you!

We love their eclectic mix of styles and their huge selection of accessories. If you ever need a quick outfit, go to Topshop, you will definitely find something there. You can mix and match skirts, tops, bags, bracelets, scarves to find that killer outfit! I have been in there many times and while it is a little too overwhelming if you take the time to search through their clothes you will never leave the store empty handed!

The one thing you can always count on at Topshop is the fact that they will always have the latest trends! With Kate Moss having a big influence on the company, you can be sure that once a new trend comes out it won’t be long before Topshop has it in their store.

If you are ever in NYC and looking for an amazing place to shop around, Topshop will not disappoint! There are two (or three) stories in the store as well so there are literally floors and floors of items! I would definitely check out the accessories section because there are always great choices there too! Topshop is one of the trendiest places to shop and has some of the best clothing around!

We do not need to tell you how much we LOVE, we rave about them all the time! They are the only consignment website where you can get amazing designer clothes, accessories, and handbags all in one stop! As if we don’t love them enough already, they have just announced that they are teaming up with Mary Amons, one of the Real Housewives of D.C. to help benefit the amazing Label for Love foundation.

I have always loved supporting brands that support other charitable causes and I personally think one brand can do so much good if they team up with a charity. Mary Amons is also the founder of Labels for Love which is such a fantastic charity that hosts fashion charity events throughout the country to help raise awareness for women and children causes. and Labels for love are allowing Snob Swap members an exclusive chance to take a look and see what they like from the very closet of Mary Amons! You can buy clothes that Mary Amons herself will be putting up on Snob Swap and you can even sell clothes yourself!

This is an amazing opportunity to take advantage of not only because of the amazing clothes that you will find from Mary Amons’ closet, but also because it will give you the chance to take part in something that will help improve the lives of others. I am a firm believer that every person can make a difference, and this campaign is only helping me prove that point. The contribution can be big or small, but every single person matters. and one of the biggest fashion icons of Washington, D.C. will help millions of women and children out and look great while doing it. If you are not already a member of, go sign up and enjoy all the perks! This campaign will raise awareness for such important issues and will allow all of you fabulous women to shop the closet of one of the most popular Real Housewives!

I absolutely love, and have always been a fan of Jack Rogers. Yes they are a preppy, girly brand but their stuff is always so super cute that I can’t help but fall in love! Pastel colored, nautically inspired shoes and dresses and accessories make you want to hit the water and sail away. Their New York City, Upper East Side Boutique happens to be one of my favorite NYC spots.

Located on Madison avenue and 88th street, the Jack Rogers store is right in the center of retail heaven. The store is bright and inviting and there are always so many great items to choose from! The minute you walk into the boutique you feel like you are miles away from the busy streets of NYC. See what I mean?!

Their Navajo sandals are one of their most popular items and are a great summer accessory. Wear them with jeans, with a dress, to work, to dinner. They go with everything in your closet and look so pretty! I like pairing them with a cropped pair of skinny jeans and a white tee-shirt. They make the casual tee-shirt look a little more dressed up!

They also have great wedge options in their flagship NYC store as well. These are great for those summer nights where you want to feel a little bit more fancy. Plus, who doesn’t love how wedges make you feel?! When you put on a pair of heels or wedges it’s like an instant confidence booster!

Jack Rogers is so perfect I can’t say enough good things about them! I love walking into their NYC store during the summer when I am walking around right before the sun is setting. I really do enjoy walking into their store and browsing around, and of course finding the perfect pair of sandals. If you are ever in the NYC area stop by the Jack Rogers store, and be prepared to put a little prep in your step!

Just in time for your summer getaway, Calypso Boutique in NYC offers an amazing selection of resort-ready clothing! Whether you are going to the Hamptons or Paris, Calypso is an incredibly trendy boutique and can be your one-stop shop for all things resort oriented!

Their website and boutique gives you a tropical, laid back vibe and has made me want to create a whole new wardrobe that will take me to paradise! They offer bright shorts, maxi skirts perfect for an oceanfront dinner and tunics that can take you shopping during the day. Even if you aren’t going anywhere fabulous this summer their clothing is perfect for those sunny days and starry nights.

Calypso Boutique features many, many great brands. AG Jeans is one of my favorite brand of jeans and Calypso has many great denim options from this awesome brand. Some other brands Calypso carries are Cynthia Rowley, Sensi Studio, Velvet and many many more.

Calypso offers many colorful and printed tunics. This is one of my favorites!

This sequin top caught my eye and can take you out with the girls or on a dinner date!

These AG ankle jeans are FABULOUS! I can totally see those as being the go-to summer pants.

They have classic pieces as well as bohemian, more contemporary items as well. Their style is definitely geared towards the higher-end, more girly girl side, but there are definitely pieces that give you that more modern touch as well.

Calypso is also very accessory oriented as well. They are absolutely fantastic. I am in awe of their necklaces, bracelets and earrings! Some of their accessories are pricey, but I cannot stop staring at them! The perfect bracelet or necklace can transform an outfit. Here are some of my favorites…

How crazy fabulous is this necklace?!

This love charm bracelet is the perfect everyday bracelet!

Calypso is such an amazing boutique, bringing the laid-back resort, preppy vibe together with a touch of city-chic. What girl doesn’t want a bright tunic or linen tee?! This boutique is the perfect place to find your next vacation outfit or your perfect backyard shorts and tee combo. If you are in NYC and looking for a girly, classic, trendy boutique to stop into, you have to check out Calypso!

Purdy Girl Boutique in New York City has been one of my favorite boutiques for many years! I have walked into their shop time and time again to look for a cute summer dress, the perfect necklace, or a cute clutch.

Purdy Girl really strives to be the one-stop-shop for every kind of girl out there. Whether you are a student, trend-setter or midtown workaholic, this boutique fits every girls needs!

Their bright pink awning and quirky, pretty, girly interiors catch your attention immediately. The stores literally burst with designers and their own in-house label, and sometimes you may even see racks of clothes lining the sidewalk outside their store!

They have three locations; two stores downtown, (one on Thompson Street & the other on LaGuardia Place) and one store on the Upper West Side. (On Columbus Avenue.)

Some designers they feature are Nanette Lepore, TIBI, Trina Turk, (love her,) Maria Bianca Nero, and more. As if these designers weren’t enough Purdy Girl also features rows and rows of jewelry! I have gotten many adorable necklaces and chunky, trendy bracelets that compliment any outfit from here.

Their prices are affordable as well, which is what makes Purdy Girl so accessible! They want any woman to be able to walk into their store and recognize their designer labels, and be able to purchase them without breaking the bank.

I absolutely love Purdy Girl Boutiques. Not only can you find great pieces for yourself in these stores but this is also the perfect place to find a cute accessory to give to your friends as a gift! Their style is girly, and pretty, with a hint of contemporary fashion. Their stores are friendly and inviting and very welcoming to any type of fashionista that walks in.

I have walked into their stores numerous times and I can truly say that their style is perfect, and they always have something for everyone! Next time you’re in NYC you have to check this cute little shop out. You won’t regret it!

The minute I visited SnobSwap I knew I was hooked! What could be better than browsing, selling, swapping, and just shopping for high-end designer goodies at a budget-friendly price?!

SnobSwap is like a closet for the budget-conscious, eco-friendly, trendy, chic, and fabulous fashionista. It is essentially an online consignment shopwhere you can find luxury designer handbags, shoes, dresses, and more for wallet-friendly prices and where you can swap an item that you list for another item you see.

The idea is absolutely amazing; a community of young, trendy shoppers selling and swapping their best designer pieces all in one place.

I am sure young women everywhere have been waiting for this to happen for ages! You even get your very own personal shopper when you sign up, you had me at personal shopper, and they can act as your matchmaker to help you find items to “swap” for.

SnobSwap coined the term “frugalista,” which just describes a budget-conscious, money saving girl! In today’s economy what’s not to love about that?! After drooling over many of the items that were listed on their website, a few stood out…

Salvatore Ferragamo handbag

Alexander Wang corset dress

Michael Kors peep-toe shoes

As an added incentive to update your wardrobe for spring, SnobSwap is even hosting a contest for the month of May. All you have to do is list one or more items on their website for your chance to win a Louis Vuitton Sonatine handbag!

This website is also so amazing because it saves you the time and effort of going to a consignment store in person and sifting through all the pieces before you find the treasure. SnobSwap puts all the great items right in front of you, and you can shop right from the comfort of your own home!

This is an absolutely brilliant concept, perfectly appropriate for today’s woman and economy and I am definitely going to be making a purchase soon!

I want to start out by saying that I am so thrilled to be part of the Chiffon Souffle team! I look forward to helping out and writing great posts!

Here in New York City there are new store openings every weekend, and figuring out which shop I should drop by next can be a tough task in and of itself! One fairly new boutique that has caught my eye recently is Spiritual America.

Located at 5 Rivington Street on the Lower East Side, this store brings art and fashion together to one awesome space.

Custom made light sculptures and rammed earth countertops!

The boutique features European designers like Vanessa Bruno,  and American designers like Vena Cava and Loeffler Randall. Even up-and-coming designers such as Mociun and Sonya Gallardo are featured here. In a cluster of LES boutiques where shapeless dresses seem to take center stage, Spiritual America features geometrically shaped accessories and bold patterned knits that will definitely grab your attention!

Iacoli & McAllister necklace

Spiritual America brings together just the right amount of art to compliment the amazing fashion they have to offer to create a trendy space on the small streets of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. It’s a hidden gem!

Yesterday I went on a journey to the Santa Monica side of town and I came across the boutiques Pink Lili and Footsie, both owned by boutique owner Lisa Frank.

Lisa was incredibly nice and I was amazed by both of the stores array of Lingerie and Pure Intimates. There were so many fantastic selections!

I walked out the store with an incredible bra that actually fits for prefect size! Girls, you may think that you know your size, but think again! Lisa knows her stuff!

Check out both of these boutiques:

I was recently introduced to a online shopping boutique called Piermarini Boutique which there original boutique location is located in the heart of Dallas, Texas. Taking a look at their new online shop, must I say I was very impressed. Piermarini Boutique has the overall gifting experience and true joy as if you were merely shopping in your best friends closet. When shopping online at Piermarini Boutique you have the options of shopping with an array of merchandise such as a variety of women’s dresses, leggings, tops, skirts, pants, jewelry, and some of their exclusive lines such as their current designer brand Abi & John. Did I mention that everything at Piermarini is super affordable and in anyones budget?! THE BEST!

Just like their own in-store boutique, I love that the online shop has a very “at home” vibe. It’s very comforting and certainly something I look for when I go shopping myself.

I also love that even when you shop online at Piermarini Boutique, you know what you want and you could easily invision each piece in your own closet.

I’m very excited to see whats to come from this amazing boutique that I would call my very own closet.
